Mobile Clinics
60% of communities do not have access to basic health care.
There are 0.9 physicians per 1,000 people in indigenous communities.
The closest healthcare facilities are expensive to travel to and take 6 hours or more to get there.
Improving Access to Healthcare
The Impulso Project sets up traveling medical clinics to communities. We bring access to free medicine and physicians. We travel with family practitioners, obstrictrians, optometrists, and pediatricians. All of our physicians are volunteers from both the countries we work in and from around the world.

"Healthcare deserts" are areas where communities have inadequate access to healthcare. The Impulso Project works with local organization to find what communities are in greatest need of assistance. We supply our clinics mostly with medical supplies that are donated from the United States.
